Upside Youth Mentoring Aotearoa's Privacy Policy

We collect personal information from you, including information about your:

• name
• contact information
• location
• interactions with us
• billing or purchase/donation information

We collect your personal information in order to:

• support young people in mentoring relationships with community volunteer mentors
• Provide news and updates regarding Upside’s operations and outcomes
• Contact regarding future fundraising purposes

Besides our staff, we share this information with:

• volunteer mentors in order to support young people in mentoring relationships (relating to relationships with mentors and young people only). 

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter relevant information, especially around health and safety, we'll be unable to provide support for mentoring relationships. 

We keep your information safe by using password-protected databases and only allow Upside staff to access this. 

We keep your information on our password-protected database, or upon your request, we can securely destroy it by deleting this on your request.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
