Simplicity Banner v3

We're so excited to have the support of Simplicity, and their generous members, to take mentoring to local communities through Mentoring Partnerships!

We might be bias, but we think the Upside programme is pretty cool for young people and there are so many local communities in New Zealand who could benefit from having the same programme in their local neighbourhood. And the Simplicity Foundation agreed, which is why they've made a generous donation to support Upside reaching out to and working closely with organisations that will benefit.

Currently, there are four awesome Mentoring Partners whose teams are running the Upside programme - there's Springboard in Rodney, Tipu Skills for Life in Tauranga, Coast Mentoring in Whangaparaoa and PACT in Papatoetoe... Simplicity is helping Upside to reach more of Aotearoa's young people to have the opportunity for mentoring within any community across New Zealand.

Simplicity Foundation (formerly the Simplicity Charitable Trust) has chosen to begin supporting based on a three-year proposal; with the intention of continued support (based on outcomes) to see Upside running self-sustaining partnerships. As we begin year one, thanks to this funding support, Upside aims to reach 70 new young people in their community and to support 315 matches over the three-year journey.

As Simplicity's membership grows, so does the funding the foundation is able to gift to many wonderful causes! Upside was one of the five charitable causes chosen for the first funding round of 2022. Find out more about Simplicity, a nonprofit fund manager (owned by the Simplicity Foundation). They're working to make Kiwis richer and smarter with money. Simple %)
